Administrative law is a branch of public law whose object are the provisions regulating the organization and activity of the Public Administration, aiming at actually pursuing the interest of the community.
These interests are looked after by establishing legal relationships with third parties with reference to the exercise of public powers and to subjective situations of common law. Therefore, administrative law further identifies rules which also perform a guarantee function for the citizen.
